Pocomoke Animal Hospital in Pocomoke City, MD is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.
Pocomoke Animal Hospital prides itself on providing your pet with the best in veterinary care. Alfred H. Rayne, DVM is the owner and Senior Veterinarian. Dr. Rayne graduated from Virginia Tech in 1992 and has been practicing locally since then. He lives in Willards, MD with his Black Lab, Leroy and cat Irene, and enjoys boating and horseback riding. In May 2012, Pocomoke Animal Hospital welcomed our Associate Veterinarian, Tara Hickman, DVM. Dr. Hickman is also a graduate of Virginia Tech, having graduated from Vet School in 2008. Dr. Hickman resides in Northern Accomac County, Virginia with her husband and two dogs, Gunner and Hokie.
The staff of Pocomoke Animal Hospital has been fully trained to care for your pet. Amy lives in Northampton County, Virginia with her two sons, Colin and Caleb, Marley the dog, Jim Bob the cat and Solaris, her newly adopted special needs cat. Erica, licensed vet tech, resides in Pocomoke with Banker and Dana her dogs, cats PNut and Bob. Kristi also lives in Pocomoke with her three dog fur babies, Jade Angel, King and Tinkerbelle and her two cats, Fat Louie and Muddy. Linda comes to us from Girdletree, MD where she lives on a farm with her husband, two dogs Carver and Phoebe and her five horses, two goats, chickens and a rooster. Stephanie lives near Salisbury, Md and has Maddie her dog, four horses and six cows.
We at Pocomoke Animal Hospital take the obligation of being pet owners very seriously.
